Weiler Abrasives has added several new options to its professional performance lineup of Toroflex cutting, grinding and combination wheels. The new Toroflex Pro+ and Pro Inox & Metal cutting, grinding and combination wheels are designed to help cut through inefficiencies, safety issues and labor shortages that prevent companies from doing their best work.

“For our new Toroflex Inox and Metal 2.0 wheel offerings, formulation makes the difference in overall performance. We went back to the lab and reimagined what was needed to make the best product. This was about more than adding innovative abrasive grains — this was about rethinking the entire formulation,” said Valentina Prapotnik, product manager, Weiler Abrasives. “The outcome is an optimized formula that combines the latest bond technology, unique abrasive grain selection and specially matched fiberglass reinforcement.”

The expanded Toroflex product lineup includes:

Weiler Abrasives took today’s labor shortages into consideration when formulating the expanded Toroflex 2.0 lineup. The wheels produce consistent results among different users to reduce training time and minimize rework. They also make cutting and grinding easier to lessen user fatigue and improve employee retention.

In addition to offering fast cutting speed, Toroflex 2.0 wheels last up to 40 percent longer to increase efficiency in operations’ cutting and grinding applications. The longer wheel life reduces change-overs and delivers more cuts. Toroflex 2.0 grinding wheels feature anti-chipping technology, an advanced bond formulation that eliminates uneven edge wear and chipping to improve safety and the user experience and extend wheel life.

Toroflex 2.0 wheels feature an industry-first, patent-pending Optimum Use Line. The line is a visual indicator that helps the user utilize the wheel to its full life. This innovation reduces change-overs, allowing for greater productivity while also reducing waste and abrasive spend. In some cases, users experience three times more efficiency than with their previous abrasives. The 2.0 upgrade also features a QR code on the wheel for quick access to important safety information.
